Hello Thanks for sharing your grocery list. I wrote one out and got overwhelmed! Yours looks easy to follow. I am ready to start the Plan and see the results. However I am dreading the cost of this grocery bill. Did you get the food yet? If so about how much did you spend? If you dont mind sharing 🙂 Thank you again!!!

I went ahead and put up a new post detailing where I shopped, what I bought, and how much I spent. I want to be very honest about this process. Keep in mind your costs may be very different depending on where you live and shop. I know this trip was quite expensive but I had to buy almost everything today. It won’t be as much to keep it up each week and the cost of our health is worth this initial investment. Good luck!

Thanks for the list. That helps so much. I hope you are planning to blog your Plan diet. I love your organizational skills! I’ll be starting the plan soon too.

The grocery list is good but what is missing (for me) is quantity. I had to run to the grocery store for extra items this first week. But I lost 4.2 pounds in the first 6 days!

    • mrsgooroo says:

Quantity will vary depending on if you are cooking for more than one person or if you are cooking for more than a few days. For example, I purchased enough items to make about 2 weeks worth of soup. I think it will get easier as we get into a routine “planning” Great start to your weight loss!

    • mrsgooroo says:

Yes quantity is a variable thing. My quantities cover feeding more than one person as well as preparing more of 2 different soups than 1 weeks worth. Hopefully the list is astarting place and everyone who uses it can figure out quantities that are suiable for their own needs. Great job on the weight loss so far!

I love reading all the comments and find usefull tips. I am on day 6 and down 5 pounds but am more excited about feeling better. When I started the plan, I also made the soups and put the salads in jars like you did…that really helped. I typically am in the grocery store for something every few days so it is easier to pick up items that I don’t have as I go. I’m still learning and that saves me from having to waste food I may not like or use. Thanks for your help with the plan…I appreciate it!

First off I want to say thank you for this blog and your info. It’s motivation! I just finished the book and I am looking to start just as soon as my supplements arrive and I get my shopping done. How did you know how much to purchase of each item?
